A Fishers couple died in a fatal car accident while visiting Warren County on business. The accident occurred when a semi-trailer struck their vehicle in dense fog, according to authorities.

"You couldn't see 50 feet," a Warren County Sheriff said of the conditions at the time of the accident on Ind. 63. "We didn't even reconstruct the crash because we had to get the vehicles off the road to avoid another crash."

The couple was traveling west on Indiana 28 to make a delivery near Williamsport at 3:15 p.m., on Monday, when the crash occurred.

Witnesses say they saw the car stop and start to pull out. That is when the truck struck them. The truck had the right of way and didn't have enough time to stop.

The visibility of both drivers was severely limited due to the dense fog. The truck driver was not going too fast. There was no way to see the semi-trailer approaching.
