Woman Doing Well After Two Car Accident

A Wayne County woman involved in a two car accident, at 7:20 pm, on Tuesday, is doing well at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

The woman, 45, was transported to Reid Hospital following the accident and later taken to Methodist Hospital where she remains.

She was traveling north on the highway in her 1989 Dodge van when she failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 1992 Ford Explorer driven by a 49-year-old man, according to a report by Wayne County Sheriff's Department.

The man was transported to Reid Hospital with minor injuries. He was treated and released. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage in the collision.
