Woman Trapped in Vehicle after Car Accident

A 32-year-old South Bend woman was trapped inside her vehicle after a car accident early this morning, as she was traveling south on Indiana 19.

Witnesses told authorities that the woman's car somehow veered off the left side of the roadway at approximately 5 a.m., as she traveled along Indiana 19. The car reportedly rolled over several times before it came to rest on its roof according to a crash report.

The woman had to be extricated from her vehicle, police said. She suffered injuries to her neck, head and back in the car accident. Police are investigating the cause of the accident that is unknown at this time.
