      <title>"Bobby Chupete" Pacifiers Recalled</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.grandworldinc.com/"&gt;Grand World Inc&lt;/a&gt;., in conjunction with the CPSC, announced a voluntary recall of more than 640,000 &amp;ldquo;Bobby Chupete&amp;rdquo; Pacifiers because they fail to meet federal safety standards. The mouth guard of the pacifier is too small, posing a choking hazard to babies and toddlers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To this date, the there have been no reports of injury associated with the recalled products.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The recalled pacifiers have a ring-shaped handle and heart-shaped mouth guard with two ventilation holes. They were sold in retail stores nationwide in the following colors: aqua, red, white, and yellow.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The pacifiers should be taken from small children to prevent a choking hazard. Consumers can contact Grand World for a refund or replacement.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Baby Strollers Recalled By Maclaren USA</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;More than one million &lt;a href="http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml10/10033.html"&gt;Maclaren Baby Strollers&lt;/a&gt; are being recalled after 12 children had their fingertips amputated in the &lt;a href="http://www.maclaren.us/recall"&gt;stroller hinges&lt;/a&gt; in the U.S., according to a &lt;a href="http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml10/10033.html"&gt;CPSC news release&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The CPSC describes the hazard as the following on its Web site: &lt;em&gt;&amp;ldquo;The stroller&amp;rsquo;s hinge mechanism poses a fingertip amputation and laceration hazard to the child when the consumer is unfolding/opening the stroller.&amp;rdquo;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The recall includes Maclaren single and double strollers. The affected models include Volo, Triumph, Quest Sport, Quest Mod, Techno XT, TechnoXLR, Twin Triumph, Twin Techno and Easy Traveller.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Parents and caregivers should stop using the recalled strollers immediately and contact Maclaren USA for a free repair kit.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Recall - Haunted House Candle Holders Sold At Yankee Candle</title>

&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="mailto:custserv@coynes.com"&gt;Coyne&amp;rsquo;s &amp;amp; Company&lt;/a&gt;, in conjunction with the CPSC, is voluntarily recalling &lt;a href="http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml10/10016.html"&gt;Haunted House Screen Tea Light Holders&lt;/a&gt; because the window panes on the screen can ignite, posing a fire hazard.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The company has been informed of three incidents in which the panes caught fire, but no injuries have been reported.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The recall involves haunted house screen tea light holders that were sold nationwide at Yankee Candle stores between August and September 2009.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Consumers should contact Coyne&amp;rsquo;s &amp;amp; Company or Yankee Candle for a refund. In the meantime, the candle holders should not be used.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Paula Deen Cookware Sold by QVC Recalled</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.qvc.com/"&gt;QVC Inc&lt;/a&gt;. announced a voluntary recall of &lt;a href="http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml10/10701.html"&gt;Paula Deen Hammered Cast Iron Cookware&lt;/a&gt; because the cookware can crack, posing a burn and laceration hazard.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The recall affects about 51,000 units that were distributed by Meyer Trading Co. Ltd. of Hong Kong.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To this date, there have been 79 reports of the cookware cracking while heated. One report involved a minor burn injury.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The recall involves Paula Deen 11-inch cast iron grill pans and griddles. They were sold as QVC item numbers K14984, K11970 and K135024.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The company will be mailing known purchasers refund instructions. But in the meantime the cookware should not be used to avoid injury.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Neocate Infant Formula Recalled</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Nutricia North America Inc. announced a voluntary recall of &lt;a href="http://www.nutricia-na.com/pages/september09.htm"&gt;Neocate Infant Formula&lt;/a&gt; because it doesn&amp;rsquo;t contain as much protein as listed on their labels.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The recalled formula -- lot number P91877 -- was sold in 14-ounce cans. They were distributed between September 1 and 11. About 3,700 cans of formula are affected by the recall. No other Neocate products are affected.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There is no immediate injury risk or other adverse effects associated with the recalled formula. While short-term consumption of the affect product is unlikely to cause any immediate nutritional issues, long-term consumption may affect the growth of certain infants.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Consumers can contact the company helpline directly at 800-365-7354 with any questions.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Ranger Side-by-Side Recalled Due To Fire Hazard</title>

&lt;p&gt;The company is aware of 46 reports of the tail light area overheating, resulting in melted plastic. In 22 reports, consumers reported small flames; no injuries have been reported.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Marble Plant Stands Recalled By Ross Stores</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.rossstores.com/"&gt;Ross Stores Inc&lt;/a&gt;., in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, or CPSC, announced a voluntary recall of &lt;a href="http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml09/09293.html"&gt;Marble Top Plant Stands&lt;/a&gt; because the top of the plant stand can detach from the base and fall, posing an injury risk to consumers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To date, the company has been notified about two incidents in which the marble top fell off the plant stand, bruising consumers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The recalled plant stands, sold exclusively at Ross Stores, have marble tops and black wrought iron bases in three sizes: small (24&amp;rdquo;), medium (28&amp;rdquo;) and large (32&amp;rdquo;).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Consumers should stop using the recalled items and return them to any Ross Store for a refund.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Burlington Coat Factory Recalls Boy’s Hooded Sweatshirts</title>

&lt;p&gt;KOMAN Sportswear, in cooperation with the CPSC announced a voluntary &lt;a href="http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml09/09289.html"&gt;recall of Boys Hooded Sweatshirts&lt;/a&gt; and Warm Up Sets sold nationwide at &lt;a href="http://corporate.burlingtoncoatfactory.com/babydepot/recalls/clothing/index.shtml"&gt;Burlington Coat Factory&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;blockquote&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The sweatshirts and jackets to the warm up sets have drawstrings through the hoods, posing a strangulation hazard to children. In February 1996, CPSC issued &lt;a href="http://www.cpsc.gov/CPSCPUB/PUBS/208.pdf"&gt;guidelines&lt;/a&gt; (pdf) to help prevent children from strangling or getting entangled on the neck and waist drawstrings in upper garments, such as jackets or sweatshirts.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/blockquote&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To date, the company has not received any reports of injuries associated with the recalled items.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The recall includes boy&amp;rsquo;s hooded sweatshirt Style No. 3650-B in various colors; faux suede warm up sets Style No. B9560ST.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Consumers should remove the drawstrings from the items to eliminate hazard, or return the item to any Burlington Coat Factory for store credit or a refund.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Steam Cleaners Recalled Due To Burn Hazard</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="www.h2omopservice.com"&gt;Thane International, Inc&lt;/a&gt;., in conjunction with the CPSC, announced a &lt;a href="http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml09/09279.html"&gt;recall of 580,000 H20 Mop Steam Cleaners&lt;/a&gt; because the power cord can wear down unexpectedly and expose the wiring, posing a shock and burn hazard.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To date, the company has received 10 reports of incidents which involved shock injuries and eight reports of incidents which involved burns.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The model numbers of affected units are 808.092 and OEM-TV-001. This recall only includes H2O Mops with the following reference numbers printed on the label on the back of the product: 200709198 to 200803148 or H20M1000 to M-H20M1198.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The recalled items were sold directly to consumers by Thane through TV infomercials; on their Web site at &lt;a href="http://www.thane.com/"&gt;www.thane.com&lt;/a&gt;; by QVC; and by retailers nationwide.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Consumers should stop using the recalled cleaners and contact Thane for a free repair kit. The company is sending repair kits to consumers who bought their units directly from them.&lt;/p&gt;
