LL Bean Inc., in conjunction with the U.S. Product Safety Commission (CPSC), voluntarily recalled Stabilicer Lite Cleats due to a potential fall hazard to consumers.

The elastic harness that attaches the cleats to the footwear can detach, causing consumers to fall. To date, LL Bean has received two reports of the harness breaking, with no reported injuries.

Stabilicers Lite Cleats, Model No. BNX9 are included in the recall. The product is worn over footwear for traction when walking in winter conditions.

Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled cleats immediately and to contact the company for a full refund or replacement.
